Fundraisers

Does your organization need to raise money? Our candle fundraisers are simple and easy and can help your school or team earn up to 50% of the profits!

We have worked with organizations as large as 400 members to as small as 10. We have found that our fundraisers average between 10-12 candles sold per participant. There is no goal too large or too small!

To date our fundraisers have earned between $2500 - $13,000, but the earning potential is uncapped.

FAQ's 
How does the fundraiser "Kickoff"? 

After choosing your 5-6 scents, we will work with you on choosing your kickoff and run dates. 

You will be supported with an order form and scent description flyer. Once your forms have been reviewed and approved by you or your board, the team or organization will be off and running to start raising money!

How does closing the fundraiser work? 

On the close date, all order forms and money will be due to your organization or team representative. You will have an extra day or two for stragglers and to collect all money.  Your organization will collect their portion of the earnings upfront. You will have some last-minute orders come in, so we encourage a few days after the close date to get all orders and money from participants. Once Soy Light Candle Co receives their payment and final candle totals, then we are able to begin making your custom order. Production time begins once SLC receives final payment along and candle orders. 

How long does it take to receive our candles?

Turn times depend on the season and the number of candles sold. We are a small family owned and operated business producing a hand poured, hand-made product which takes time. We are always trying to improve our lead times. Typically, an order of 200-300 candles takes around 2-3 weeks for us to complete. Orders of 600 or more can take 4-6 weeks and that can vary by season, availability of materials, ship times from vendors, and so on. With that in mind, we do our very best to complete orders as quickly as possible. 

Will Soy Light Candle Co. ship to our friends and family that would like to purchase a candle? 

We are not currently set up to ship individual orders for our fundraising partners at this time. The team/organization is welcome to set up their own shipping terms if they would like to ship outside of their local fundraising area.
